About

Sophia has previously lived and worked as a textile designer in San Francisco for brands under the Moda/United Notions, Andover, and Lecien Fabric companies. She studied at the California School of Professional Fabric Design in San Francisco and Color Trend Forecasting with Pantone Color Institute’s Lee Eiseman in Seattle. 

Holding both a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Design, Sophia consults as a product and way-finding designer, and lectures in Design Thinking, Marketing, and Strategic Design at the University of New South Wales and the University of Tasmania.

Sophia lives with her husband, son, daughter, and one cat in Hobart, Tasmania. Always on the go, in her free time Sophia, aside from being constantly obsessed with pattern and tessellation, creates ceramic works or plans her next renovation on her small home.
